Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of AppCraft websites, web services, iOS and Android applications, subscriptions, and related features. By using any AppCraft product, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

1.1 Age. You may use the App only if you are at or above the age of digital consent in your country (typically 13-16 in the EEA and 13 in the US).

1.2 Capacity. You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

1.3 Partner, Third-Party, and Uploaded Data. If you enter data about another person, upload a photo containing another person, or provide content that belongs to someone else, you represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights, permissions, and, where required, explicit consent. This includes partner cycle data, identifiable photos, recipe content, social media links, screenshots, and other user-provided materials. Upon notice or objection from an affected person, we may restrict, delete, or suspend the related content, profile, or account.

1.4 Accounts. You are responsible for the accuracy of registration data and for maintaining the security of your device and any credentials.

2. Service Description

2.1 Platform Scope. AppCraft provides a collection of mobile and web applications. Individual apps may include recipe creation and recipe storage, photo upload and image analysis, shopping list generation, onboarding and paywall flows, account features, subscription access, health or wellness tracking, cycle-related selections, mood forecasts, and other app-specific tools.

2.2 App-Specific Features. Some AppCraft apps, such as Chill Chef, may allow you to upload photos, recipe links, ingredients, saved recipe content, or other user content so the app can generate, organize, transform, or store recipes and related outputs. Other apps may use structured inputs, such as controlled lists or tags, for cycle, mood, wellness, relationship, calendar, or goal-related features.

2.3 AI-Assisted Features. Some features use artificial intelligence providers, including OpenAI/ChatGPT or similar service providers, to process prompts, photos, recipe content, structured inputs, or other user-provided materials and generate outputs. AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, unsafe, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.

2.4 No Medical, Nutrition, Safety, or Professional Advice. AppCraft apps provide informational and convenience features only. Mood forecasts are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Recipe suggestions, cooking steps, shopping lists, nutrition-related content, or food handling guidance are not professional dietary, medical, allergy, or food safety advice. Always use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals where appropriate.

3. Privacy and Data Protection

3.1 Privacy Policy. Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully.

3.2 Special Categories and Sensitive Content. Some data processed by certain apps may constitute special category data, including health, sexual life, menstrual cycle, mood, or similar sensitive information. Photos and uploaded content may also reveal sensitive information, such as health conditions, biometric identifiers, location context, minors, or other people. We apply enhanced safeguards where required and obtain consent where legally necessary.

3.3 Data Minimization. We apply data minimization and pseudonymization where practical. Cycle-related flows should use structured inputs where possible. Photo, recipe, and AI-processing features should request only the content needed for the user-facing feature and should not require broad device library access where a narrower picker or user-selected upload is sufficient.

4. Subscriptions, Payments & Cancellations

4.1 App Store Purchases. Purchases through Apple App Store or Google Play are governed by the respective platform's terms. Manage subscriptions via your platform account settings.

4.2 Web Purchases. For web application subscriptions, email [email protected] to change your plan or cancel. Include the email address used at purchase and your order ID. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

4.3 Auto-Renewal. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.

4.4 Plan Changes. Upgrades may be prorated and applied immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.

4.5 Free Trials. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the paid plan starts automatically.

4.6 Taxes. Prices may exclude applicable taxes and fees charged by the platform or payment provider.

5. Refund Policy

Scope. This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions and one-time purchases. Rules depend on where you bought the product.

A. App Store purchases. For Apple App Store or Google Play transactions, refunds are handled by the respective platform. Submit requests through their support channels.

B. Web purchases (Paddle). For transactions through our web application, Paddle's Buyer Terms apply. Buyers have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase without giving reason. Contact [email protected] with your order ID. Access to paid features will be revoked upon refund.

C. After the 14-day period. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. We may consider refunds in limited cases such as duplicate charges, unauthorized payments, or confirmed technical failures.

D. Cancellation vs refund. Canceling stops future renewals but does not automatically refund. Access remains until the end of the current billing period.

E. Promotions. Promotional offers, coupons, and gift codes are non-refundable and non-transferable except where required by law.

F. Chargebacks. Contact [email protected] first if you believe a charge is an error. Filing a chargeback without contacting support may delay resolution.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the App in violation of law or others' rights
  • enter personal names or identifiers designed to bypass structured input
  • input data about another person without their explicit consent
  • upload photos, images, or content involving another person unless you have the necessary rights and consent
  • upload, generate, or request illegal, abusive, exploitative, sexual, non-consensual, deceptive, or harmful image content
  • upload content involving minors except where you are legally authorized and the use is lawful, safe, and appropriate
  • use AI features to create deepfakes, impersonation, fraud, harassment, or misleading content
  • upload copyrighted recipes, photos, text, or other materials unless you have the rights to use them
  • rely on AI-generated cooking, health, mood, nutrition, or safety outputs without independently reviewing them
  • interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access source code except where permitted by law

7. Intellectual Property; License

7.1 Our Rights. The App, including software, design, and content, is owned by us and is protected by law.

7.2 Your License. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own, solely for personal, non-commercial use.

7.3 Feedback. If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use and incorporate them.

7.4 User Content. You retain ownership of photos, recipe content, prompts, inputs, and other materials you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, copy, process, transmit, transform, display, and create outputs from your content solely to provide, secure, support, and improve the AppCraft services, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.

8. Third-Party Services, AI Providers, and Devices

The App may rely on third-party services, including cloud hosting, analytics, authentication, payment processors, app stores, email providers, AI model providers, image processing providers, and device-level permissions. When a feature requires AI or image processing, your selected inputs and outputs may be transmitted to service providers such as OpenAI/ChatGPT or similar providers for processing. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control, but we require service providers to process data under appropriate contractual, security, and privacy safeguards where required by law.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

AI-generated content is provided for convenience and may contain mistakes, omissions, unsafe instructions, or outputs that do not match the uploaded content. Recipe and food-related outputs may not account for allergies, ingredient safety, local regulations, medical conditions, or dietary restrictions. You are responsible for reviewing and safely using all outputs.

10. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where unlawful (including for death, personal injury from negligence, or fraud).

Subject to the preceding sentence:

  • Your statutory consumer rights are not affected
  • We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Our aggregate liability shall not exceed amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim (or EUR 50 if you paid nothing)

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your entry of data about another person without consent; or (c) your misuse of the App.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, violate law, or create legal exposure. Upon termination, we may delete or anonymize stored data per the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. Updated Terms will be posted in the App or website. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Courts in Wroclaw, Poland shall have jurisdiction, except consumers in the EEA/UK may bring claims in their country of residence.
